April 10, 2025 BOSTON --- Registration is open for the 18th Housing Institute, which takes place June 4-5 at the DCU Convention Center, 50 Foster Street, Worcester. The conference brings together municipal leaders, volunteers, and employees in suburban and rural communities and gateway cities to problem solve, network, and share ideas on the development process of affordable housing across the commonwealth.
March 28, 2025 STATE --- The pre-application period for the next round of Climate Ready Housing is open until April 11. The state funded opportunity funds deep energy retrofits in existing multifamily affordable housing. Funding will be leveraged competitively to support 10 to 15 projects.
February 25, 2025 BOSTON -- After 14 months of work, MHP is thrilled that “Building for Tomorrow: A report from the Unlocking Housing Production Commission” was released last week. This report, authored by experts across various fields, is the next step in increasing the supply of housing and lowering costs for residents of the Commonwealth.
