Originally market-rate, Winn converts 7-story Everett project; 47 units affordable

EVERETT, March 3, 2008 --- Using its ability to provide long-term financing for affordable rental housing, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) has committed $5.9 million to support the conversion of a market-rate condominium project into 74 units of rental housing, 47 of which will be affordable.

WEST BARNSTABLE, Feb. 4, 2008 --- With a long-term first mortgage loan commitment of $1.75 million, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) is helping the Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod (HAC) create 40 new affordable apartments in West Barnstable.

WAREHAM, Feb. 1, 2008 --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership is supporting JK Scanlan Company's construction of The Village at 815 Main Street with a $2.1 million long-term fixed-rate financing commitment from its bank-funded loan pool.

BOSTON, Jan. 28, 2008 --- With technical support and a long-term first mortgage commitment of $736,000, MHP is helping Viet-AID, Inc. build 43 affordable apartments at 1460 Dorchester Ave. in Boston.

SOMERVILLE, Jan. 23, 2008 --- By providing nearly $10 million in permanent first mortgage financing, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) is helping to create 119 affordable units in two projects in Somerville.

Rental portion of project opens; MHP provides $1.1M loan commitment
