​In eastern Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) used its capital sources to finance 693 mixed-income apartments last year, often through locally-issued Ch. 40B comprehensive land-use permits.

In Fiscal Year 2017, MHP did more than just finance hundreds of affordable apartments in Boston. It also used its capital sources to finance affordable apartments in the communities surrounding the Hub.

BOSTON --- While the obvious signs of the City of Boston’s march to adding 53,000 new units by 2030 are luxury apartments going up at the Seaport and downtown, these tall buildings should not overshadow the new affordable housing that’s being developed in the neighborhoods, often with financing from MHP.

BOSTON --- Reports that blacks aren’t sharing in the nation’s homeownership recovery is a clear sign that ONE Mortgage is needed more than ever.
