​In its effort to help MBTA communities comply with the new multifamily zoning requirement, MHP's community assistance team has compiled presentations that planning staffs have been providing to local officials (updated).

MHP has attended over 25 public meetings and has had many conversations with local officials about the new MBTA zoning law. Along the way, several misconceptions have emerged which we will attempt to clarify.

I’ve been part of 20+ presentations to community leaders about the new state mandate for multifamily zoning in MBTA communities. While hard work lies ahead it’s clear to me from that process that the new law is a major step forward for the Commonwealth.

MHP is partnering with the state to hold a training on Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing (AFHM) and lotteries on Wednesday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Attendance for this popular training will be capped at 40 so sign up now.
