BOSTON, August 16, 2002 --- MHP has teamed with MassDevelopment to create a financing program that provides non-profit owners of affordable housing with long-term permanent financing at low interest rates.

NEW BEDFORD, June 27, 2002 --- HallKeen, a real estate investment company, celebrated the completion of its renovation efforts in the Acushnet Heights neighborhood. MHP provided rental financing in three of the four phases, a total of $1.1M for 66 affordable rental units.

SANDWICH, May 6, 2002 --- MHP is financing a new 36-unit development called Osprey Lane. All units will be rented to income eligible residents earning between 40 and 60 percent of the area median income.

WORCESTER, April 26, 2002 --- The celebration marked the renovation of 98 Austin Street, a historic Greek revival home that had fallen into disrepair. It is one of two buildings on the street scheduled to be renovated into affordable rental housing. MHP is providing $860,000 in permanent financing.

HYANNIS, April 24, 2002 --- MHP is providing permanent financing for Aunt Sarah's Place. A former boarding house, the building has been completely renovated and now features one-room, studio and single room apartments within walking distance of downtown Hyannis.

FALMOUTH, March 25, 2002 --- MHP took part in opening ceremonies of the Gifford Street Housing and Human Services Campus recently. MHP provided the bulk of the permanent financing, which created 28 new affordable units.
