A conference for Affordable Housing Trust trustees

BOSTON --- Join MHP, Metropolitan Area Planning Council and MetroWest Regional Collaborative for a half-day training geared towards trustees of existing Affordable Housing Trusts. The training will be held on Saturday, May 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriott in Marlborough. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

​WILLIAMSTOWN --- As part of an ongoing effort to support the town's efforts to gauge public support for zoning bylaw changes, MHP hosted a community open house earlier this month to talk with residents about the town’s housing needs, especially in the downtown area around Williams College.​​

BOSTON, Feb. 2, 2017 --- MHP's Center for Housing Data has commissioned a study that will identify and evaluate practical policy options for developing a funding mechanism that would redirect some revenues generated from new development back to communities to defray muncipal costs of allowing new housing.

LAWRENCE --- The grand opening of 73 new apartment at Duck Mill was a chance for Lawrence Community Works to show how much pride it takes in trying to make the city a better place.

PITTSFIELD --- MHP continued its support of rental housing in Pittsfield, this time using its Treasury Risk Share Program to provide a 40-year, low-interest loan to support Marathon Development Group’s efforts to fix, stabilize and ensure affordability of New Amsterdam Apartments for years to come.

BOSTON --- MHP and our co-sponsors are pleased to bring back the much requested Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing (AFHM) and lottery training this spring. The two-part series will be held on Tuesday, March 21 and Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Both sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at MassHousing, One Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02110.
