MHP uses its bank-funded loan pool to provide long-term financing

GLOUCESTER, July 6, 2010 --- State and local officials recently gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the third, and final, phase of redevelopment at the former LePage glue factory in Gloucester.

DORCHESTER, July 16, 2010 --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) recently committed $563,000 in permanent rental financing to help 1810 Realty Group, Inc. refinance and slightly rehabilitate 37 Single Resident Occupancy (SRO) units in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.

LOWELL, July 14, 2010 --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP) recently committed $750,000 in financing to help the Coalition for a Better Acre construct 23 new affordable rental units in the Acre neighborhood of Lowell.

NORTH ANDOVER, July 1, 2010 --- At the official groundbreaking, speaker after speaker rose to salute the town of North Andover for contributing $1.3 million in local funds to support the $10.1 million rehabilitation of a former nursing home into affordable housing within walking distance of an elementary school, a middle school and the high school.

IPSWICH, June 25, 2009 ---The YMCA community and local leaders gathered yesterday to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Power House Village affordable housing development, an effort made possible due in part to a long-term financing commitment from the Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP).

SPRINGFIELD, May 19, 2010 --- The Massachusetts Housing Partnership recently committed $1.8 million in permanent rental financing to help the First Resources Development Company substantially rehabilitate 152 units in four scattered-site buildings in the Federal Street Historic District of Springfield.
