Chinatown celebrates new apartments

BOSTON --- A neighborhood that was once bulldozed to make way for a new highway was given new life this November as local residents gathered with city, state and private funders to celebrate the grand opening of 66 Hudson at One Greenway, a 363-unit development at the east end of Chinatown.

LAWRENCE --- Back in 2004, the MHP board and staff took a tour and held a community meeting in Lawrence to gain a better understanding of the city's housing priorities. One major point of discussion was what to do with all the vacant mills in the city and one of the stops on the tour was Malden Mills, where WinnDevelopment's Larry Curtis explained how some of the factory buildings could be transformed into housing.
