METHUEN --- In an effort to prevent 40B plans from being submitted, city planners are working with developers who have a purchase agreement for six acres of land, to shape a housing proposal that will be compatible with the city's housing goals.

WAYLAND --- An interviewing committee has narrowed the selection to four proposals for the development of a former Nike factory into a 16-unit affordable housing development.

ALLSTON --- Harvard University and Charlesview Inc., a non-profit developer, move towards a land-exchange agreement that will allow Harvard to extend their campus while giving Charlesview additional land on a new site that will allow them to increase their affordable housing stock.

AMESBURY --- The town has passed a bylaw to increase its housing stock by preserving historic buildings such as barns and carriage houses as affordable housing units.
