Wellesley: Downtown housing-retail effort gets OK

WELLESLEY --- The redevelopment of the recently demolished Wellesley Inn has taken another step forward as the selectmen threw its support behind a plan to turn develop the site into 9,000 square feet of retail and 19 market rate condominiums. In addition, a residential cottage that still stands on the site will be turned into two affordable housing units.
