Registration is open for MHP’s 17th Housing Institute

BOSTON --- MHP’s Housing Institute will be in person on Wednesday and Thursday, June 12-13, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The venue is the AC Hotel Worcester, 125 Front Street, Worcester, MA, conveniently located along the commuter rail. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Union Station. Ample parking is also available. MBTA Planner Tool. The Housing Institute is a two-day intensive training geared toward municipal officials, employees and volunteers in suburban and rural communities and gateway cities. Participants engage in discussion and problem-solving activities related to developing affordable housing across Massachusetts.

Housing Hero awards

Hear from Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities, Edward Augustus, who will join us June 13 to present this year's Housing Hero awards. Previous recipients

    Registration

    The cost to attend is $75 per day, $150 for both days.

    Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Programming begins at 9:00 a.m. on the first floor of the hotel. Trainings conclude at 4:00 p.m. All training materials will be provided in advance electronically. Refunds will not be offered to registrants who do not attend. Communities are encouraged to send multiple representatives from municipal government and/or local boards. Need-based scholarships are available through May 8.

    Registration closes on Friday, May 31.
