STATE --- For more than 30 years MHP has been providing direct technical assistance to communities across the state. MHP’s Community Assistance team strives to support housing policies and programs that increase housing variety and open communities to all people, particularly those of diverse racial and economicbackgrounds. Creating meaningful change requires thoughtful engagement in communities, while building common ground to help clear the way for more equitable housing options. To help move our work forward the Community Assistance team is scheduling eight virtual listening sessions. We invite you to join us to share your insights, challenges and ideas, which will help us build a robust understanding of your local housing landscape and assist your region moving forward.
The eight virtual sessions will be held in two cohorts on consecutive Wednesdays from 12:00-1:15 p.m. Register for the session that best fits your schedule. If you have a scheduling conflict you may attend a different region's session.
We
hope to gather information that will allow us to better understand the housing
landscape in your region, any gaps in technical assistance offerings and how we
can continue working with you to increase equitable access to affordable and
safe housing in your community and throughout the commonwealth. We are excited to have lively virtual discussions, but we recognize there may be barriers to attending these sessions. We also welcome your feedback through our online form.
