BOSTON --- MHP Senior Counsel, Procurements and Contracts Jameel Moore has been honored with a Top Women of Law Award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Moore and other honorees were recognized at an awards celebration at the Hynes Convention Center. Top Women of Law honors outstanding achievements of exceptional women. Each year, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly honors attorneys from across the spectrum of the legal profession.
Moore joined MHP in 2024. Reporting to the General Counsel, she provides legal advice to MHP’s internal teams, senior management, and the executive team. She is the lead counsel on procurement and contract matters. She has several years of experience as a transactional attorney focusing on complex contracts, government regulations and commercial real estate for both private and public sector clients. She has experience advising clients across various industries on statutory and regulatory compliance, including state and federal procurement laws.
Her volunteer work is extensive. She is president-elect of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association (MBLA), a member of the Boston Bar Association of which she co-chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and has also served on several committees, and a member of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s pro-bono committee. She sits on a nonprofit board whose mission is to prevent homelessness among single parents and volunteers monthly at a food bank that provides culturally appropriate food.
It's very exciting to be acknowledged for the work I’ve been doing in the local community and to be acknowledged by my peers,” Moore said. “I love being in the community, even though it’s a lot of nights and weekends it’s worth it, doing good work that’s helping people.”
Attorney Christelle Jean-Felix is a member of MBLA and has worked closely with Moore. “She has been so active over the years dedicating countless hours and pouring her heart into the MBLA and her community,” she said.
Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly is the only statewide legal publication in Massachusetts.
Top Women of Law honorees are selected by a panel of judges comprised of members of the local legal community and the publication’s editorial and leadership team.
