BOSTON --- MHP has released its 2022 Annual Report, an online and interactive report designed to provide an enhanced reader experience, featuring ease of navigation and a publication style accessible across multiple platforms.
The report highlights the work that MHP has done since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to support community leaders, produce multifamily housing, help low- and moderate-income households and families purchase their first home and make the case for zoning reform in the Commonwealth. Here are some highlights included in the report:
• Launching the multiyear Complete Neighborhood Partnership with another 11 cities and towns to help them design innovative local strategies to promote new housing served by public transportation.
• Administering the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) and helping to reinstate more than 5,400 home mortgages and protect families from foreclosure.
• Launching Green & Healthy Housing programs to offer long-term financial incentives to developers and owners who incorporate green and healthy features into their affordable multifamily properties.
• Designing and building visioning and data tools, such as Residensity, to help communities plan and accommodate new housing growth.
• Developing and pursuing additional state policy changes to promote smart, climate-friendly, transportation-oriented housing production in the Commonwealth.
