For over 30 years, MHP has been providing direct technical assistance to communities across the state. Our overarching goal has been to support you in developing more affordable, multi-family housing to meet the diverse needs of your communities.
But every now and then it is important to reflect and take stock.
We are interested in considering our work from an equity lens, particularly in light of current events shining a bright light on racial and economic disparities. Will you help us?
MHP’s Community Assistance team is scheduling a virtual listening tour focusing on four regions this fall and four in the spring. We invite you to help us understand the housing issues in your region, gaps in existing technical assistance and how we might work together to make access to affordable and safe housing more equitable. The information we gather will inform our team goals moving forward.
Schedule and registration links to Fall series:
- West of Boston – Tuesday, November 10, 12-1:15 p.m.
- Central Massachusetts – Thursday, November 12, 12-1:15 p.m.
- South Coast – Tuesday, November 17, 12-1:15 p.m.
- South of Boston – Thursday, November 19, 12-1:15 p.m.
Spring series (schedule TBD):

You can reach out to us on how we are identifying each region, or decide for yourself which one makes the most sense for you. Folks in Gateway cities can wait for the spring session, as well as attend the regional meeting, or pick just one.
