There is still time to register for a day-long training geared towards trustees of existing Affordable Housing Trust boards and staff that support those trusts.
This training will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Holiday Inn & Suites, 265 Lakeside Ave., Marlborough.
The goals of this training are to:
- Provide an overview of housing trust work across the state
- Learn about what a developer looks for in siting affordable housing
- Learn how zoning can support our affordable housing goals
- Discuss best practices and learn more from other communities
- Engage in a small group case study
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Cost to attend is $30. Check-in at the conference begins at 8 a.m.
